----- 医学真菌学简介
Mycology is the branch of biology concerned with the study of fungi, including their genetic, biochemical properties and their taxonomy. Fungi are heterogeneous, ubiquitous, slowly growing and heterophilic organisms that live as saprophytes and parasites and reproduce both sexually (perfect fungi) and asexually (imperfect fungi). There are many procedures that are used for diagnosis of fungal infections.
