Most organisations in developing countries have witnessed a great revolution with the introduction of paperless management. This not withstanding, a chunk of employees continue to rely solely on paper for the daily operations at work. One would wonder what could account for this, especially in a case where there is the presence of modern information, communication and technology (ICT) tools as well as infrastructure. . This study therefore explored staff perceptions on the use of an ICT-based (paperless) management system. It also focussed on how management is able to cope with these perceptions from employees. This study brought to bare the fact that organisations currently are faced with challenges which can be rectified with the use of a complete ICT or paperless system which can be rectified. The introduction of a paperless system also introduces a new set of challenges both management and employees are required to deal with to ensure maximum productivity.
