The undertaken work about the archive of letters from familiy-members and friends of Claudius Tiberianus, soon a speculator, a kind of secret-service man, and later a veteran of the Roman army, gives an inside vision of the social and economic life in 2nd century A.D. Egypt. All the texts show up in the original Greek and Latin version and are accompanied by an Italian translation and an exhausting commentary which meets many aspects of the everyday life in the civil and military society. Indexes are covering all the arguments of the texts in the papyrus as well as in the commentary.
