The present volume consists of original materials for a history of the Honour, or Barony, of Dunster, as distinguished from that of Dunster itself, a subject which I have already treated elsewhere. It is not concerned with the borough, the manor, the castle, or the church, or indeed with the lords of Dunster, except in so far as successive Mohuns and Luttrells exercised certain feudal rights over the owners of other places.
