Yet another Ruritanian/Graustarkian adventure from Brebner, involving the struggle for the throne of an obscure European duchy. This one has a gimmick that the hero's real identity isn't revealed until about a third of the way through the book.... the down side of that is that the characterization is never fleshed out and it's hard to figure out his motivations or know anything about his background or skills. That said, the plot is exciting, there's lots of action and adventure, and the ending is a bit of a twist. Definitely more than worth the price (free!).
