This is a very short work, and the publisher couldn't even take the time to verify their OCR scan, which contains a few typographical errors. There's not enough to the story to justify the purchase price; it's a cute, simple, and mildly enjoyable bait-and-switch story that belongs in an anthology, but should not be sold as a standalone work.
It's a short story, with a clever concept.
Doesn't deserve publishing. I can't believe it found its way into Amazon. It's written like a little dream that turned ugly.
What a neat little story. Not so sure about the criticisms offered by the previous reviewers. I enjoyed this very short (and free) tale.
This is a pirated work. "The Demi-Urge" is an early short story by Thomas M. Disch, and his literary estate did not authorize its publication here. I will be doing my best to have it taken down.
My rating is not for the story, but for whoever uploaded this story. This is almost certainly a copyright violation, since the author has been dead for some three years at this writing, never gave permission for this work to appear in ebook format, and since no copyright information, permission statement, or other identifying information appears anywhere within this version.
what a swindle! Looks like a novel, but it's a (very) short story, 24 pages of huge print, and not very good. If you dig on Amazon you can find it's only 24 pages, but you can't open it to see the typeface.
