This book gave all the details of the mutiny that took place. I learned all about what happened before, during and after that fateful day. It goes into some detail about the men involved, their families and the trial that took place. I found it so interesting that I read Voyages Around the World 1768 - 1790 after which gave more details about Captain Cook's interesting career. It took a lot of guts to sail around the world like they did and it makes for great reading
Excellent !
Historically fascinating.
If you are interested in the Bounty mutiny this book gives a very detailed account, and is very descriptive of the suffering of those cast adrift in the open boat.
Worth the effort and interesting giving a realistic slant on the Hollywood Version
This is a really informative book that fills in a lot of gaps. Please be aware the font is 2mm tall. So if small print is an issue for you, then you can download legally an audio book version of it for free. But I just loving having a real paper book for my library.
A very good account though written in the language of the period which takes a little getting used to.
Very interesting and knowledgeable book. Hard to put it down. Found it interesting the length and language used in the letters and descriptions found in the book.
While much of it reads like a legal transcript ( because it is) it is interesting to find out what happened to the Bounty mutineers.
A good objective telling of one of the most famous mutinies ever.
Good, further explains the mutiny
What an amazing story. Often difficult to believe it is based on a true life chain of events.
Excellent book, well worth reading!
