I was very disappointed to find out the 88 RISING store no longer had the CD available for BALLADS 1. So, sure enough, it's on amazon. I got the hard copy within a few days, no scratches and the CD plays perfectly. It also came with a 'parental guidance' sticker which I was able to peel off without destroying the cover art; and promptly put the parental advisory warning on a Despicable Me Minion Recorder Flute. So not only is the album exactly what you paid for, but you get a free sticker that you can put on your Despicable Me Minion Recorder Flute making it seem 10x more edgy than a regular recorder flute. The album works in my car and on my stereo, it's a great album and in the future it's going to be much harder to purchase; so if you're a fan of any musician with their albums on amazon I would invest in buying them if you're a collector of physical albums and not just MP3s. The songs are very well made, and you can always listen to the songs on 88 RISING's youtube channel before buying; but I 100% recommend buying the album since it's so worth it to be able to play this without an internet connection. Also a bonus is it makes midnight rainy car trips seem much more aesthetic.

Loved the Vynl, but the music was distorted and a couple of the tracks had static but where it skipped some lyrics

Love this album

First of all, the album is amazing and every song is great but the only problem was that the product arrived broken, with the plastic case broken and cracked!

Upon delivery of my CD i found there was a small hole in the packaging, I then looked at the casing of the CD and there is a crack along one side, very disappointed

Joji is a lyrical genius and my star rating is not based on the music or him at all. It is based on the quality of the CD I received. Track 1: Attention had major sound issues. Some of the other songs had cutting issues toward the end of the songs, but it wasn’t a big deal.

I had been listening to a lot of Joji on Youtube. I guess Youtube thought it was time I bought the album. While listening to Test Drive on Youtube with the phone in my pocket, my phone opened up the amazon store and purchased the album. I can honestly say it's the best thing I have ever "pocket bought". I've been listening to the album non stop for the past day or so.

I followed him back when he was Filthy Frank persona when he still did YT videos. Quite frankly I am glad he made to the transition to music because oddly enough I am hooked to these tracks. For some reason a few of these tracks remind me of Post Malone - another artist I listen to as well.

Returning the copy I bought, and going to purchase another, I'll update my review if the new one skips as well so you know if it is just a crap pressing, or if it was an isolated incident. It wasn't like just one track, it was the first 4 tracks I listened to, and a good 15 second time period of it skipping, but there is nothing visibly wrong with the vinyl.

I love joji. However I’m gonna rate this vinyl. It’s lightly warped which causes a lot of skipping. It’s super wiggly. Idk if that’s cause of amazons handling of it or how it came out the factory like this. Either way it skips.... a lot. I notice the warping effects the outside of the record which is where most of the skipping is... the closer to the inside of the record the skipping slows down cause there is less surface area for the stylus to groove on and less warping near the center as well.

Finally arrived and was worth the wait I love Joji so much ♡

My son will probably be upset for my 3 star review, this was purchased for him... I’d say Joji has potential, Nectar being a huge step forward for him, but this album in every way sounds like demos to me. Even the artwork screams bootleg. Some tracks show much more potential than others, but many sound the same-ish to me with only maybe an EP’s worth of tracks I’d listen to again or wanted to produce further. I wouldn’t say there is anything bad, just not a lot that’s seems “finished.” Again, very demo-like, artist in development stuff. Wish the “clean” version was with alternate words showing the ability to use the English language rather than obvious drop outs emphasizing the bad language that’s missing.

this is one of my favourite albums that i just had to get on vinyl but is very rare to find. Side A plays perfectly but side B does tend to skip sometimes towards the end of the album and the pitch of the songs seems to raise and lower repeatedly which is a real shame. not sure if this has happened to anybody elses but apart from that, great overall album.
