----- 高等教育工作压力
This book sheds light on work related stress in academics particularly those involved in distance learning. Because of the global thrust on the use of online learning, most conventional institutions of higher learning are now gradually embracing distance learning. Most of the literature, such as basic concepts, theories, models and principles have been blended with empirical findings and trends in different countries, making the content in this book very practically oriented with a global flair. Transformation of distance learning has brought additional roles to academics thereby increasing their workload. This increasing workload is causing increased work stress. These negative work outcomes are contributing to less than desirable levels of service delivery within the institutions of higher learning. Practical ways of addressing work stress in order to improve service delivery have been included. The book is therefore very pragmatic and relevant to academics, senior management and human resource practitioners in higher education with a thrust of improving distance learning.
