This book aims to investigate drivers of sustainable strategy and develop a model for implementing sustainability concept in the organization. The study investigates the organizational antecedents of environmental sustainable organizations (ESO) in Indian context. It also aims at identifying the need for changes in management practices and organizational principles for adopting sustainability. Another objective of the study is to evolve a model for sustainability strategy, which can serve as a guiding framework for implementing sustainable development within the organization. The study has several policy and managerial implications. The study contributes towards the company’s initiatives in one priority areas namely environmental sustainability; and fair relationships with the internal environmental strategies including environmental policy making, green human sustainable resource management (training and development for adopting sustainability practices), adoption of green technology and green supply chain management practices. The research reflections on sustainability provide a framework for embedding sustainability in the DNA of the organization.
