----- 城市修辞:城市空间中的表现,定位和场所制作实践
Rhetoric cannot be thought of without the city. The city, a site of condensed exchange - not only of goods and services, but above all of opinions, views, and perceptions of the world; in short, a site of doxa - is the prototypical site of rhetoric. With reference to the problems of orientation and place-making, Pierre Smolarski shows the city as a site not only of the condensing and contesting of divergent opinions, but also an object of manifold rhetorical endeavours - not only a space for rhetoric, but itself also a rhetorical space.
