The book provides a detailed review on the biology of Indian crested porcupine (Hystrix indica; Family Hystricidae; Class Mammalia), a serious vertebrate pest of the world, and the various management strategies (including various bait formulations and fumigation), developed under the field conditions of Tarbela-Mangla watershed areas of northern Pakistan. A comparison of the economics of different management measures has also been presented.
