----- 听觉研究中的分子遗传学
The inner ear is a specialized organ whose malfunction causes misery for many millions of people. Unfortunately, it is not very accessible for most lines of research. However, the techniques of molecular genetics have allowed us to study it as never before. The aim of this publication is to show how and why selected approaches using these techniques have proved successful. Techniques such as reverse transcription and the polymerase chain reaction are described in several articles, each with a different emphasis and presentation. Contributors to this publication also give their own views on the future role of molecular genetics in hearing research. It will inspire a broad audience including clinicians, students and other researchers interested in entering the field.
