[Penal Justice and GDR Injustice. Documentation. Volume 4. Espionage.]The fourth volume documents in two partial volumes the criminal prosecution of GDR citizens on account of espionage against the Federal Republic. The main focus lies in the criminal proceedings against members of the Ministry for State Security's Central Administrative Office for Surveillance (HVA), which had the authority for the GDR's intelligence service structure - the "Stasi". The ruling against the former HVA director, Markus Wolf, is printed in full for the for the first time here. The ruling against the NATO spy Rainer Rupp ("Topas") - which impressively describes the methods and success of GDR espionage - is also included.
