----- 格但斯克书:版本-历史考核-评论
The editing of texts is a central function of philology. Besides large complete editions, nowadays there is a call for user-oriented critical historical editions of individual works from more recent German literary history, and these can also include editions of correspondence, diaries and text-types. Editions of this type are published in the series Exempla critica. The criterion for a text being included in the Exempla critica is not whether the text belongs to the established canon but the extent to which it is of exemplary significance with regard to its genesis and transmission. The series presents texts in critical historical editions, i.e. all versions are presented, variants marked and emendations documented. In addition, there is an account of the history of the text’s origins, printing and reception.
