The book ‘managing a multi-generational workforce’ discusses four main topics which are; (1) the required multi-generational management skills, (2) generational cohort differences, (3) the most effective multi-generational management approaches and, (4) the least effective multi-generation management strategy. Through a number of discoveries made in the book, people can contribute to workplace social changes and improve community relations through a better understanding, approval and gratitude for multigenerational workforces. Also discussed are suggestions and implications for hiring, steering, and managing different age groups within the office. The author argues that every generation has unique expectations which organizations must attempt to fulfill, this will motivate employees to stay with the company.
