Kyphosis is an abnormal increased forward angulation of the spine which results in a minimal to severe spinal deformity producing a slouching posture. Patients may present with progressive deformity accompanied by associated consequences including neck pain, neurologic dysfunction, postural instability, and marked decline in health-related quality of life.
