In this book, the authors present current research in the study of the physics, composition/dynamics and health impacts of atmosphere and climate. Topics discussed include global warming in the context of millennial climate history; large ice sheets may have the capacity to self-destruct and cause rapid and permanent changes in global climate and sea level; temporal and spatial patterns of PM10 concentrations in urban areas; and advanced fibrous adsorbents for CO2 removal from power plants and the atmosphere.
