Immunity and immunotherapy of human fungal infections is an up-to-date in-depth assessment of the current status of immune-based antifungal preventive and therapeutic interventions. This book consists of integrative chapters that deal with the subject from different angles. Also discussed herein is an updated review of medically important fungi, the diseases they cause, morbidity and mortality trends that are associated with them, conventional antifungal chemotherapy, and non-immune-based (actual and/or potential) unconventional treatments.
