European Environmental Policy: East and West focuses on areas of cooperation between Eastern and Western Europe in the field of environmental protection. The limitations and possibilities of cooperation between East and West are then discussed, with emphasis on sub-regional cooperation between those countries faced with a specific transnational pollution problem, namely, the countries bordering the Baltic and the river Danube.
