----- 建设电线传感器网络:理论与实践展望
Even though sensors have been around for quite a few decades and sensing in itself is a field that has been around for a while, they have only gained popularity in the last few years. This can be attributed largely to the rapid advancements in networking and hardware technologies, which have led to groundbreaking developments in the wireless sensor network (WSN) paradigm. Wireless sensor networks are used in a variety of applications today because of their versatile nature. They are used to collect data in a lot of fields of science for research as well as by companies and individuals who need to collect data from different points in a region or in smart homes. But with so many diverse applications, there are also a lot of challenges that have led to development of strategies, protocols, and methods to tackle those challenges. This book gives an overview of the state of the art in WSNs in theory as well as in practice. It describes the strategies and techniques developed and also gives a practical guide for readers to program and develop their own WSNs, guiding them on how to develop their WSNs and choose strategies best suited for their application.
