First, this is a horribly written crim book and the authors used no discretion in attempting to make it clear, concise, or intelligble. But that isn't in Amazon's control, just a warning for the next poor law student to have to use this casebook. Second, this book was COMPLETELY highlighted and written over, an absolute horror to read and work through–as if the content isn't bad enough, it was so hard to use and navigate through the margin notes and multi-colored highlights. There's no way this book should have been advertised as in good condition.

With rented textbooks, you expect to see notes in the margins and markups. The amount of notes taken in this book make it nearly impossible to read. I found myself looking up cases online because of the volume of notes taken in the margins. The attached picture is representative of almost every case in the book. I’d recommend renting from a bookstore or nearly anywhere else.

It doesn't have page numbers so it is impossible to keep track of classes as professors use page numbers to refer to a specific topic or part of the book during classes and professors also use page numbers in the syllabus and assignments.

This textbook is just like the lectures of the authors - extremely theoretical and dry.

This is the most horribly written textbook I've ever read. Rather than teach you material, the book just gives you some cases and then throws out some rhetorical questions. Very few explanations. Also, the language is unclear and unintelligible.

The digital version of this book does not have page numbers, making it entirely useless for use in law school.
