This book is exactly what it says it is, a handbook for evaluation. This is to say that it is a great book for all graduate students and program managers a like.

This was a helpful and useful book for conducting an evaluation, the only one I found with a specific framework that was a helpful asset to evaluate projects. The previous reviewer didn’t even buy the book, so it’s a shame he gave it one star without reading it. The book contains an excellent chapter by Eleanor Chelimsky that provides an evaluative framework, ideal for PhD research and funded work. Other chapters relate to organisational project evaluation and this will be a reference text to which I shall refer, for many years as the key concepts are introduced within context.

Well, I was reading this handbook in my Ipad2, and also in my smartphone. It was my first time using Kindle. The bookmarks that includes are very useful to make notes! I really recommend this book also because it covers all aspects of evaluation, and it is easy to read.
