I have not read the entire book, but researched one subject very briefly inside it and concluded rapidly that I could get all pertinent and conclusive information from this one source. This would be instead of just reading the usual 50 different articles and then trying to piece together a perspective or a method of reasoning. The fact is, after reading the 10 or so pages relating to the subject in question (de-dolomitization) I was more able than ever to read all the other reference material and articles and place the info into an intelligible context. Great book, clear and well-written. I am putting it on my wish list - in the Kindle version, so it takes no space!
