The interest excited by the two preceding volumes of the Letters of Mary, Queen of Scots, which I recently had the honour of introducing to the public, has caused arrangements to be made for the completion of the series, by the publication of a third volume of letters and documents, illustrative of the personal history of that unfortunate queen. This collection was commenced by my sister and myself, previously to the appearance of the first volume of the Lives of the Queens of England, in preparation for a personal memoir of Mary, Queen of Scots, which in due time will be forthcoming.
