When I heard of the death of Mr. Isaac Marsden, I felt that the Church of Christ had lost a faithful and devoted servant, and I had lost a personal friend. I resolved that he should not go down to the grave 'unwept, unhonoured, and unsung so I wrote a series of papers describing my own impressions of him, sketch ing a few interesting features of his work, and giving a few examples of his marvellous success.
