I borrowed an advance copy of Klugman and Lamb's edited volume from one of the contributors to see if it's something I'd find interesting and useful. Bottom line: It is a truly wonderful contribution to Health/Medical Humanities. As one who believes that we must use inclusive language and style in order to invite educated lay readers of any field to join our work, I find the book especially refreshing. The format is elegantly clear and clean, and the book as a whole offers information that can be put to good use. I’ve asked our library to purchase a copy of the book, and I’ve just ordered my own copy.

This book is incredibly important to a developing field and to health care providers. It provides practical learning that helped me in designing a class and putting together a research proposal. The volume is a must have on the shelf of anyone interested in health.
